The audiobook version of Fate and the Exogames is available and is narrated by Mark Sanderlin.
Bawled my eyes out. Thanks.
Honestly very underrated. This is a must read for anyone who loves a good sci-fi dystopian. Hunger Games vibes and Divergent era of books. I want Fate Artemis to be my friend in real life. Jayde is such a badass, love that gal. Jaaspar, deserved more but that's ok. This is a well written book and kept me hooked from the very beginning. Smashed out this book in 2 days. Not sure if there is a sequel, but I need more.
If I could give this book more than 5 stars, I would. Take all the stars I have because this book deserves the best. The way I fell in love with all the characters so quickly was incredible. I've never read a book that made me love the characters so much.
If I could go back to the past and read this book for the first time again, I'd do it 100 times over.
Glad I came across this book. Had me hooked and enjoyed the twists! Great read highly recommend
Imagine a world with no men.. The entire male population has been extinct.
This book was set in no mans land, where females have lived and prevailed for years without males.
The book follows the story of a strong and courageous young mother; Jesira, who fights to the very end to protect her first born child, which happens to be a male. It depicts the true power of a mothers love and dedication to protect her child at all costs.
Could the first born male lead to the destruction of Diektra and the monarchy?
This book has you flying through the pages as each chapter captivates you from start to finish. The twist and turns and the secrets that slowing reveal themselves has you hooked. As mentioned by the author G.A john, secrets cannot choose to hide forever.
G. A. John has written an incredible story with a very interesting (and rather difficult) concept to pull off correctly, thankfully he did. I immediately fell in love with the protagonist, Jasira, as we unlock the mysteries with her. As each chapter ended, my fingers forced me to turn the page and continue reading, I just could not put it down! Although ‘Born of Burning Embers’ is a short and quick read, there is such a good amount of storytelling and creativity to sustain the plot. I also like how there was a short story at the end of the book which gives the reader another POV of a supporting character, it was a lovely touch to the novel. I can’t wait for the next one and for more stories from G. A. John. Well done!
